Community Action Officer Austin Diaz

Will report on the Cactus Park Precincts Real-Time Operation Centers efforts to combat crime in the area using new installed technology. Officer Diaz is committed to improving our neighborhood and positively engaging with the Alta Vista community. Every meeting is an opportunity to kindly introduce yourself, and share your concerns.

Our Neighborhood Specialist – Johnny Mendoza from Neighborhood Services Department

Information about code compliance, community engagement and neighborhood revitalization programs like the Gated Alley Program and Lead Safe Phoenix, a no cost program paid for by a grant from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that aims to reduce childhood lead poisoning by creating lead-safe housing. Community Impact Specialist – Alaura Washington from Community Medical Services

Will be sharing what CMS does for the community. CMS is an out-patient treatment center for individuals struggling with Opioid Use Disorder. They utilize Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) with three FDA approved medications to help stabilize the client’s brain chemistry while simultaneously supporting clients through individual counseling, case management, coordination of care, and connections to any other resources they may need. www.communitymedicalservices.org 855-203-6352.
